sixwordstories and with characters from on_thecouch.
The tag "sws" is for six word stories, and "couch" is for on the couch. The two 'verses are vastly separate. No, really. (Now if only I could get around to tagging everything...)
Couch:
- Bernard is eighteen, and a senior at St. Francis' Prep School in downtown DC.
- His mom up and moved in a panic after the Gang Wars, which is why they're in Washington.
- He's flamingly homosexual, a fact that Kon (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
ihavettk) refuses to let him live down.
- His best friend is Tim Drake (mrsarcastic003), who still lives in Gotham. They talk every now and then and act way closer than "just friends", but Tim is dating Cissie King-Jones (cisskabob) who just happens to be Bernard's half-sister.
- No, really. Bernard and Cissie are related. Thanks, Ollie, for not being able to keep it in your pants.
- Bernard has only recently found out about his new family, and is a little weirded out by them.
- He used to date Kon-El (ihavettk), and recently dated Timbug (buggyblueboy). The breakup with Kon was messy and bad, and the breakup with Timbug was eerily amicable.
- He spends a lot of time in Chicago at the Carter-Kord residence, hanging out with Booster Gold (itsboosterrific) and Ted Kord (beetlebabble). He's befriended their randomly-acquired out-of-time teenage ward, Henry Pickle(no LJ for this one).
- Henry is damn cute. Bernard has noticed this. Awkwardness ensues.
- Bernard will attend NYU in the fall, focusing on traditionalist art.
SWS:
- Bernard is twenty-one, living on his own (with two roommates) in Gotham.
- He's just finished his journalism degree from Gotham State University, and is now having a hella amount of trouble finding a job.
- He's pretty much 100% straight (he could be convinced otherwise, but it'd take a lot of convincing from the right person).
- He's dating Anna Leighton (asilentworld), a deaf girl from New Hampshire. She's transferring to NYU in the fall, and he's very happy that they'll be closer together.
- He's still friends with Tim Drake (deductionmaster), even though they haven't seen each other in years.
